The black you see is spray paint with heavy overspray on top of a painted sign. Nothing I tried would cut through it so I said heck with it and hit it with lacquer thinner. It's almost perfect now without harming the finish.

Not mine but I saw it for sale on ebay a few years ago.

Here is my Texaco sign. Sign displays well with my 1917 Ford Model T. J

I guy that worked at a Gulf bulk plant told me they would use those pump plates for dust pans.

Here's one I need to get around to stripping

6ft.Brilliant Bronze used by a local farmer/rancher for a hay sled to pull behind his tractor.

That's a shame but cool at same time.
