[i][/i A friend has a Dayton 600 pump for sale that I am thinking of buying . It has smooth skins and all the pictures I can find show fluted sides . Did some of the Dayton 600 come with smooth skins?

Do you have a copy of the pump Bible? Answer should be there.

No. I built a tokheim 36b a couple of years ago and was thinking about building another pump. if I do build another it will probably be my last. I think it is a great hobby. I enjoy looking at the different pumps and signs. Makes me think about when times were a lot less complicated

If you are interested in fluted skins for the 600, believe Plainbroke was working up another run of them shortly.

I bought a set from him in the past and skins were absolutely fantastic. Minimum prep to paint.

Whomever fabricated them is good!
Price is right as well.

the fluted skins do look great but I have decided not to buy the pump and concentrate on finishing my street rod. I do appreciate the info. I am going to the Dixie Gas show in April so maybe I will find something there . I have never been to show like it before. I am excited about going. thanks smokey1
