Has anyone seem one of these signs before. Friend has one and just have never seen one. Real or Repro ?

Honestly, looks to me like a repro. Been watching Shell stuff like a hawk for my restoration for a few years now and don't recall seeing that.
The other tell for me is the "gasoline" script as that looks so repro to me. Seems like a modern take on the 50/60s script to me.

Hey Craig…I have been somewhat mystified about the Shell pump plate for years. It is as though Shell did not have the footprint as some of the other large companies. I had a very rough Shell Golden Oil “plate” years ago that had thin metal bars on the back with connecting holes…but I could not imagine it being used as a pump plate. I don’t know what the common “regular” and “ethyl” plates for Shell looked like.
