If this has been answered in another thread, please send me in that direction.

My question is, should you empty out an oil can that is still full? Does it decrease the value? Is it better to get the oil out in case it starts to leak? Is it best to punch the holes in the top or bottom of the can?

Def the bottom if you're going to empty.....which I do the majority of the time.
