Probably an SSL issue.

OK Dan I'll bite; SSL issue?

SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) is a standard security technology for establishing an encrypted link between a server and a client—typically a web server (website) and a browser; or a mail server and a mail client (e.g., Outlook).

There was a discussion a few months ago if the site didn't see an increase in petrol discussion it was going to be shut down. Just saying?????

But then could be what Dan said.

We wish them all well.

frown I'm sorry to hear this. I have not had the pleasure of meeting either Dawn or Terry, but have seen beautiful examples of Dawn's art talent and given deals by Terry as if we were long lost friends. My prayers and best wishes to them both.

Praying for Dawn.

Yes,I'm sorry to hear about it too.
The loss of a companion site like Terrys, is never good for the collectibles hobby!
Its just one more venue that is no longer accessible.
Prayers for Dawn in her time of need, and best wishes to them both!

Wow! Great words from super "veteran members".

I am also SAD to see the site gone ...

I joined Cheese's site back in 2008. I must admit I learned a lot from great folks there. The site was very unique, IMO. The two main forums, I enjoyed:

1-Tons of photos of restored pumps.
2- A forum dedicated to "Photos of collections".

Also, one year, Cheese decided to do a "garage Sale" during Nov/Dec time-frame. It was a blast & got few nice pieces.

Saying a prayer for Dawn. I hope she wins the battle.

The garage sales were alot of fun.

I noticed that the site was down. I was going to call Cheese, but have not yet. I hope Dawn is doing good...

I don't know them personally and have only spent very little or next to no time on the site. But it is very sad to hear of their struggles!!
My prayers go out to them!!

Both Terry and Dawn are special people. It is sad that the site is down.
I have had the pleasure of flying up to Detroit and driving over to Brighton and enjoying the show and meeting the people there.
John, I even met you finally there my friend.
Both Terry and Dawn are in my prayers as together they fight this battle.
And Terry for standing right by Dawns side shows that he is a man of conviction and class

I remember well when you came to the show. Always a great time at the pre-show BBQ's at Terry's house. The two day BBQ's prior to the shows are legendary. Food and drink ALL day and night. Several times my son Tony and I did not make it to the hotel and to bed before 1:00am. Dozens of people sat around the bon-fire and talked all night. People came from all over the country. Terry and Dawn welcomed everyone to their home every year.

I was also a mod there for many years and I had access to those behind the scenes conversations. There are two sides to every story.

The site is closed. Let it go.

This thread has outlived it's intended purpose so by this post, ask the mods here to lock it.

Morgan has the standing to make that request and we will honor it.

Please send your messages of support and thanks to Dawn and Cheese directly.
