Just got a call from a friend to help him pick up the L-3 pump.
He is new to the hobby and couldn't figure out how to open up the pump to get at the plumbing.
I checked both of Jack's books and his website and couldn't tell by the pictures, but I'm guessing there must a lock on the bottom of the doors.
The friend said the pump is kind of sunk in the ground, so he couldn't tell if there were locks or not.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
bob

Since first posting this I found some pictures of an L-3 pump and it doesn't look like there are any locks on the bottom of the doors.
Also remembered I took a picture of the same pump a few years ago when the guy wanted too much $$ for it.

I have a L3 Service Manual that shows pictures on how to open the panels.

Email me if interested.

The stainless window trim slides up and off. The lower panels have two screw tabs that hold them on. turn to left and the panels lift off. Paul www.severngaspumps.com.
