Picked up a nice Richlube bulk oil dispenser today with a blue and red motor oil sae 30 logo on it with the chevron wings. Can't seem to find much out about the company. Guy said that it had been sitting in that location for the last 60 years that he knew of. Whats the history of them and are they part of Chevron. Thanks, Larry

Richfield Oil Corporation was an American petroleum company based in California from 1905 to 1966.

In 1966 it merged with Atlantic Refining Company to form the Atlantic Richfield Company (also known as ARCO).

ARCO in turn was purchased by BP in 2000.. not part of chevron - richlube sticker is early 60's .. ... cool
