I am going to give one of these sign to my son for Christmas,no date on the DX.The Phillips is dated 1941.They have both been in my garage since the 70's,I used Bar Keepers Friend and steel wool to clean and polish them, they both look so much better.Leaning towards the Phillips as a gift. Both are DSP and no i will not adopt any of you gassers!!

Phillips I agree! On of my favorites.
I like SINCLAIR and old American made stuff ... No china items.

That's a toss up Frank. I would think the Phillips is worth more. But I'm kinda partial to the DX.
Steve Coppens Always interested in Sunoco items! Really want a Sunoco National pump ad glass!!

Id personally go with the DX.
Good oil cans don't wait for people, people wait for them.

Phillips ! Of course I'm a little biased because that's my middle name.

If you give him Phillips...it can be a project to hit the swaps and look for the bracket and base to make it a lolli again. Always good to have an excuse to hang out with your pops.
My dad took me to swap meets my entire life. Some of my best memories were are Canfield Super Nats and Corvette Carlisle.
Just my 2 cents...

While I also like the DX I would go with the Phillips simply because with that date everytime he looks at it he can marvel at just how old it really is.

Frank; Might as well give them both to him. Can't take them with you and he will wind up with them anyway... might as well get the enjoyment of the look on his face now... Chuck
