I believe this is rocket science for some of people.
It's amazing to me how people can totally miss the point! There will always be a buyer's premium and personally I believe there should be. However what's hard for a lot of people to understand is how THAT FEE IS RAISED by 80% and you get no additional benefits. So before you go on with your call so and so to complain or adjust the amount you bid think of it like this:
You pay $100 per month for cable tv, starting tomorrow you now pay $180 per month for THE EXACT SAME SERVICE. That's an increase of 80%.....When you go from a bp of 10% to 18% that's an increase of 80%. Now how many of you would be complaining about that!
I like Dan Matthews and think he's done a lot of good for our hobby, I don't know Dan Morphy, but I think he's done and will do a lot of great things for our hobby. So this is in no way an attack on them, I'm just trying to explain to some people why many people are upset over the rise in the fee. In the long run, the reach that Morphy's has is tremendous and it will be a great thing for this hobby. As with any change their will always be resistance, some of that resistance needs to be met with understanding.
