Is it common for a sign dated in the 20's &30's to have the tag line printed on it
"Made in the USA"?
I ran across two signs recently and they were the heart of this guys collections. Both sign dated early 30's or late 20's and the guy claimed they are new old stock.

I have early Texaco and Pure that have something to the effect of product of U.S.A., referring to the company and in the body of the sign, but not referring to the maker of the sign.

These two signs were purchased off ebay and they clearly say MADE IN USA.
One was a line crush tin sign and the other was a gas sign.
