Only 5 weeks until the Portland swap meet. I am looking to buy 3 or 4 unrestored gas pumps and 100+ oil cans. Sold one of my Tokeim 39 tall pumps last night to help finance the hotel and gas. Who else is going and what you bringing?

Well now, since you are loaded with money guys !! Look forward to selling lots of stuff. My painter is way behind so might have to bring unpainted in primer stuff. I am looking for more Gamewell cast iron stuff and four way 12 light traffic signals though. Will hopefully have some coke chests, pumps- visibles, a few neons, and oil bottle racks.
Hope to see you all there.

I am also looking to pre purchase unrestored pumps. Not looking for primer stage. Also want large store neon signs in any condition. This show is only once a year so I plan to purchase many items. Will also be at race track Thursday. I'm in the area from Wednesday to Sunday/Monday. If I buy more then I can take home I will rent a storage unit and return the following week.

This is a very large auto-auto related show. Two locations covering about 100 acres. April 4-7th. Lower show opens up on Thursday and closes Sunday. Upper show opens Friday and goes to Sunday. Thursday- Friday the days to be there.

This year marks the 49th year for it. Address is: Exposition Center 2060 N. Marine. Dr. Portland Oregon 97217
www.portlandswapmeet.com

Many area hotels sold out as always.

The swap meet is smaller again this year due to the circus.

The circus has moved to another location; but they're using the space for paid vendor parking (or so I'm told).

The website says:

"IMPORTANT!! Stall changes for 2013. The stalls that were used in 2012 for the Cirque will not be available for vendor space in 2013."

I guess I will see what they did when I get there. Last year I was told 700+ of the once 3500 vendor spaces were not available to vendors because of the circus.
