Time for the next Phase in the Tide Water Oil Company, saga:

Starting in 1937 and finalized in 1938, Tide Water Oil of New York; now under the ownership of J.Paul Getty and his Mission Corporation. Merged with Getty's "newest" acquisition; The Associated Oil Company of San Francisco....

The name of the New Corporation with Headquarters in New York became: Tide Water-Associated Oil Company

Unfortunately, I am not completely sure of how far the two territory's encompassed in the 1930s and 40s... I know that the Tide Water Region included the North East and some jobbers in the Mid-Atlantic States.... The Associated Region included the West Coast and most if not all of the Rocky Mountain States. But, how far East and West did the two Regions influence? If anyone can fill me in on early stations in the Mid-West, Plains and South West I would love to add the info to my "folder"...
