So here's the pump I pass quite often - it was a nice one all original before it grew rocks (still original glass somehow)

Also, a sign I see at a regular junkyard haunt that has gone by the wayside I guess - Anyone think it was a skelly station or just coincidence?

I see what they did with the pump...it's now a lighthouse!

See if they will trade the top for a nice porcelain Bonnet.

Can anyone except me or Nicole spell the word ART.Probably not.Personally,I think more of that than I do of any Roman or whatever there is out there.Simple money can buy stuff;it cannot buy that kind of one of a kind creations.

I have spoken to every member of that family and offered to replace it with any light top they wish from home depot or lowes - it will never be sold.

I never said it wasnt cool (clearly i admire it) but it is certainly odd to see.

Does not look like you can even get in there to change the bulb.

Thats why they make hammers to change the bulb with...

i wounder if there are original skins under those rocks????

I'd have to say if I got a pump without skins I'd be tempted to make a lighthouse out of it after looking at that one.

I have always said that visable pumps were works of art. This proves my point thank you.

You've got to be kidding. Someone stacks stone around a visibles skin and it becomes better than "any Roman"?I'm a mason. I wouldnt exactly call that "Art" I feel there is a difference between creating a work of art and covering a work of art with stone.
