I got a great idea to clean it up and find smaller similar barrels to stack on it in my garage corner in descending order going up... will be sweet.. I'm a genius!

If you can weigh it I can tell ya what it's worth here in the big state! They do make nice looking trash cans for your shop if you can pick it up to dump it when it's full. They get quite heavy!

Nope I like it just how it is - it's worth far more then I paid for it regardless MOSTLY just curious if anyone really collects the big stuff, and I'd never seen one before that i thought was cool.

I have never brought one home from a show that I had for sale, They are very good sellers for garage trash cans, put a plastic bag in and lift it out, no need to lift the can.

I have gotten from $10-$35 average for most of them.

I've used the plastic bags as well but use mine for scrap metal and under my torch table so the plastic doesn't hold up. But yes! They make cool trash cans!

If you do use it as a garbage can with a plastic bag, might I suggest drilling several large holes in the bottom so it won't create a vacuum when you go to pull out the full bag! smile
