For the Cities Service collector who has everything - or just
thinks they do - this early Cities Service globe. The front lens (the 'money' lens) is VERY old, and correspondingly rare. The back lens is the more common version - and although it has wear, it's better than no lens, or a blank one. Regarding the body: I do not know whether or not it is original. It does appear that it was yellow, before it was black. The globe is exactly as it was when I got it 5 or 6 years ago.
Regarding condition: this is not a mint, NOS globe. There is no flaking paint. There are no cracks in the lenses. There are a few scratches and scrapes - albeit very minor ones - on the 'money' lens. If you are interested in this globe, please ask any questions you might have before you agree to purchase it. I will not be accepting returns on it, as gas globes respond poorly to games of ping pong, as played by UPS.
