Need pics.knowledge, anything you can share. Have 1 pic from Sinclair collecter,showing Guarantee Measure/Fry Pump,with metal rectangler sign globe. I am commited to 1925-1930 round globe. Are you against using a Fry?

NO, HAVE brake checked this project,you guys are rubbing off on me, want to do as correct as possable. If fry is it,so be it. Will be ceiling issue in sons game room. Won't come clean and tell you what I was going to use,because you wouldn't be proud. T-way knows cause I spoke with him about decals. Hoped some one would say clockface era. Respect me for re thinking. WE can allways change pitch of roof on his new home!

Even Clockface pumps w/ a globe require a 8'+ ceiling [might be able to use a Capco/glass body w/ 13.5"].

Have 8ft.plus,in center,not sure on edges of room as its turned opposite of main roof,over garage on end of home. Worse case scenario,he can keep it in garage Built my garage with 10 foot ceilings, he topped that with truing up 16 footers,so he's at 15foot10. Asked him what he was thinking,because,he had to brick all four sides, to compile. Looks good house don't drawf it,but lot exspense I Wouldn't spent. How tall are the frys,as the picture I have has it on two teir concrete,which makes the man standing between it and a model A look like a midget. Thanks in advance for any more help.

MOST visibles are right at 9' w/o a globe [tall 10s & 15gal are taller]. Some of the early Fry's were mounted on concrete base, later ones came w/ a cast or steel base which housed the pump mech. Early ones either had an exterior pump or were air/electric remote operated.

Come up here to St. Louis, go to the History Museum, the one on Sinkard, ask to see the photo collection of old service stations. They have a great deal of Pierce-Pennent station photos.

Loyd,I'm the one that sent the Fry picture to my friend who in turn sent it to you. He told me what pump you had in mind but don't worry, I won't tell.

The last time I visited the museum they would not allow me to make copies, they made them and they charged per copy. Also, they are very strict about copyrights, they mark the pictures.

Thanks Jack and all for help,so far. Wondered if they would even allow copys to even leave museum was just going to go and see. Bobs been so much help if they will make,and charge for two, I'll still keep my promise.
