...pretty sure that's not a Pure sign - Pure signs are 10" x 12"...

...I have seen similar signs with other Octane ratings, in red...someone on eBay had a pile of those last year, or the year before...

I bought it from a man in Mass. that had it for a long time. So it didn't come out of some stock that was on ebay last year. He told me it was Pure that's why I listed it.

If you're going to post a doubt here on my ad, then please at least be "for sure" about them not being Pure or maybe someone else can chime in and tell us what Gas company they were from or......

...I never said your sign came from the eBay lot - only that similar signs were previously available on eBay...and why would it matter if your sign DID come from the lot on eBay?

...I'm quite sure that Pure signs (the style they used for around 15 years) all measure 10" x 12", and I'm quite sure you said your sign measures 11" x 12"...all you have is 'the guy I bought it from said ____'...

...of course, he could have been wrong, or confused, or lying, or you just misunderstood him...who knows?...it doesn't really matter...you posted the sign as being a Pure sign - and I can't find any evidence that it IS a Pure sign...and it sounds like you can't, either...

...but hey, by all means, let's hear from some Pure experts...if someone can prove your sign was used by Pure, we'll all learn something...

...for the record: I'm not accusing John of trying to mislead anyone, nor call his integrity into question...I'm quite sure the sign is an original gas pump sign - it's just not a Pure sign...
