Seller is to Cheap to post more than 1 picture!
I have no Doubt the design was created in the 20's, BUT to have been found by the same company that originally created it w/ Original Paint!
Company has been sold 2-3 times & changed location each time, SO IF this sign was stored away, why would they save & move it each time?
I smell a Wharf Rat!

I know this company and this sign. It is pretty much an original sign. They made new glass for it,but the rest was made from pieces found in the basement of the company, which has been in Buffalo for almost 100 years. I own two other Flexlume signs,a Goodyear with yellow milk glass letters and a Red moon with white milk glass panels. I have spoken with the owner of the company a few times,he is in his 80s now and his family has owned the company for ever. He is a very nice guy.

This sign is right...I spoke to the owner of flexlume this summer after Greg and I found a super rare G&J Tires sign and he showed me this good gulf. This sign was in their basement. I could have bought it for 18,000 smile He said his dad bought the company out of bankruptsy in the late 40's...Great guy...He also said they coated their metal signs with a coating of copper to make them last....Very friendly and informative guy...

Looks like a great piece of history, looking at old photos of gulf stations and seeing it.
