I'm looking for anyone that may have some old broken globe lenses laying around that they don't value highly.
I have this idea to turn a few old burl knots into globe bases / lens holders BUT then a whole lens wont go into them so id need lenses that are broken semi-evenly & not just shattered.
I plan to try to glass-glue them along the edges of the break or maybe try an injection auto repair type glue after mounting.
It's just a goof project but if it works out ill have some cool all wood curly-wood lightable globes.

Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

if they go cheap enough id try them, but they look pretty shattered. Idealy (in my best dreams) I'll find a couple cleanly broken in half or 3 pieces.

Look in the for sale section. There is an ad for gas globes for sale. He has two that are clean breaks. Hope this helps!

Dave...I have two lenses, both 15"..one is PENNZOIL in 5 large pcs, and other is CONOCO in 2 pcs...LMK if interested. These are original lenses. 75 ea...Warren
