Was able to pick these two signs up, in really rough dirt & grease shape. The Mobil sign was used to mix cement on & has a lot stuck to it & looks to be perma-rusted into the mounting. I could use some info on age & value opinions - Also, the tire sign is two sided tin (two signs) mounted on a wood frame with hangers. Wondering if that's original or if I should take it apart. Any ideas on value per sign?? I may sell one if its advisable to take them apart.

Suggestions on cement removal and what to do with this rusted ring would be VERY VERY appreciated. Id love to restore the ring and mount it again eventually if possible.

UFF-DA! Try muriatic acid to start with. Too bad it has the bend in it--gonna lose some porcelain there!

Mobil - $275-475 depending on how bent and how clean you can get it. Saw a worse one sell for $375 with a bow across the whole face.

I think at least $350 to $450 on the Mobil for this area!

The Mobil one is cleaning up pretty nicely, and I repaired the bend with no real damage. So I have hope!

Should I take the BFG sign apart or leave it on the wood frame? Maybe take it apart and build a new frame for it? If the frame is not typical i'd pull it apart and sell one of the pair.

Yep, take the BFG apart, keep one and sell the other to recoup your cost.
