I just got my Air Scale meter back from the painter & was wandering if I should of painted around the face black like I did the letters? I went for the rough factory look so no filler work was done at all. We just blasted it primed & painted it then cleared it. Looks great now so if I do around the face I will use gloss model paint & a steady hand smile

Yes. Black would look great around the face. Wether you go with black or not could you post pics when you put together?

According to the original Air-Scale factory literature, the only thing that was pained black was the letters.

But, like I tell others, do what you want with it.

I would do it black and tape it off. It looks like you put some money into it already, taping it off will make it look right. Looks great so far !

Use 3M blue fine line tape 1/4 ". It will do a circle better than regular masking tape. Available at auto paint stores.

Jack I was thinking the same thing. Plus the wife likes it the way it is. I will wait till I get it the rest of the way together & decide.
