I just got my Air Scale meter back from the painter & was wandering if I should of painted around the face black like I did the letters? I went for the rough factory look so no filler work was done at all. We just blasted it primed & painted it then cleared it. Looks great now so if I do around the face I will use gloss model paint & a steady hand

According to the original Air-Scale factory literature, the only thing that was pained black was the letters.
But, like I tell others, do what you want with it.

I would do it black and tape it off. It looks like you put some money into it already, taping it off will make it look right. Looks great so far !

Use 3M blue fine line tape 1/4 ". It will do a circle better than regular masking tape. Available at auto paint stores.

Jack I was thinking the same thing. Plus the wife likes it the way it is. I will wait till I get it the rest of the way together & decide.
