The soaring canopies of the Albert Frey Tramway gas station are a
Palm Springs landmark. The structure greets motorists coming from
the East like the welcoming wings of a giant, spacey bird. It's been
restored recently as an art gallery - about as far from its greasy
origins as you can get.

Dome Gas Station
Teapot Dome gas station continues to operate about 15 miles southeast
of Yakima on Interstate 82. It is said to be one of the oldest functioning
gas stations in the United States, and is listed on the National Register
of Historical Places.
