I have owned this thermostat for nearly 8 years now. It’s in incredible condition, and all aspects function perfectly between the movements of the brackets and temperature. The Shell emblem is behind the glass, and the thermostat states Your Friendly Shell Dealer and Johnson Oil Company. Does anybody know how this thermometer came about between the two companies?
I think it has to be circa 1920-1930
I have no idea on the value as well, and would love to know if anyone owns one themselves or has any info at all on this? Many thanks!!!
