This is an old paper kite with the wooden cross sticks.

The kite was made by the Crunden-Martin Manufacturing Company of St. Louis Missouri.

The kite will make a great collectable gift and if properly framed would last for many years to come as an uncommon conversation piece in your home, office, restaurant, advertising agency etc.

The kite is too fragile to be flown and appears to be made from a light wax paper type material. It's a little crinkly and has very small tears where the strings exit the paper for the cross stick attachment. It has browning stains that indicate its age but lend to its character. I don't think it is sound enough to streatch it onto the cross sticks but a good conservator may be able to accomplish this.

Will ship anywhere in continental USA or Canada.
