IMO the problem is home grown and lies with the seller who is buying this ***** and flogging it on e-Bay. This guy in Saskatchewan has been selling at least two other repop Red Indian porcelain signs on a regular basis. These greedy vendors are the ones that are instructing the overseas manufacturers on what to make next and selling out the hobby.

I think Dave is absolutely right! There has to be some connection over here for them to be able to do this on the level that they are working!

Years back the owners of red indian trademark had ads in pcm and think on here threatening legal action for unlicensed use. Maybe they don't care any more but if they don't protect it will land in public domain like hola hoops.

I don't think these poor quality reproductions will hurt the market one bit. I have a nice 3 footer in my collection and that junk coming out of India doesn't hold the slightest resemblance to a good quality original.
Not worth worrying about and not worth comparing to.

This 42" is currently being made in the USA and sold in the USA for $300 via gas/oil internet site. What do you think about it?
