Does anyone know what brand of tires, batteries, etc. did the Johnson Gasolene stations sell in the 30's ? Looking so I can find the right brands (signs) for the station I'm building. I've got the canopy over the pumps almost done.
Lots of things still to do. Thanks in advance, Steve

Johnson marketed 3 brands of gasoline, Johnson, Brilliant Bronze, & Cash Discount. I don't find any TBA listed on my 1934 & 1942 Johnson maps but on my 1951 Brilliant Bronze it has Mohawk tires & Gould batteries.

Is this the Johnson Oil Refining Company based in Chicago with a Cleveland,Oklahoma Refinery? A 1933 Letter I have on this company is printed with a round 3-color symbol with the words "JOHNSON WINGED 70 GASOLENE" with "TIME TELLS" on wings which straddle the "70". This would be a nice looking station sign if they made their signs like this.
Hope this helps, Lincoln

Yes, it's the Chicago based company, and they used the winged hour glass logo extensively.
