Found this sign and they want $185. I didn't get exact measurements, but about 30x36. The red part of the sign is the same front and back (one piece) and it seems the silver frame was added. does this look like an original. Is the price fair and about what age if possible. Thanks, everyone.

Can not help much on age or originality. Any more though my line of thinking is hard to find any sign in any condition for less than $185.00 that is original. Perhaps I am shopping in the wrong places.

Really hard to date as firestone is still in the retreading business today. Recaps for tractor trailers and farm tires is big business. From your pics looks like a window glass frame? Being its at a dealer, they might take less, and if its something you like it doesn't seem to be over priced. Don't think its a sign one should bank on to resale BUT who knows there is always ebay you know how that works. All it takes is two who refuse to lose.

It was $225 and they came down to $185. It just looked weird....

The age is 60's to 70's. By the 80's it wouldn't have been the type of signage used/constructed.

Fair price for any Firestone collector. It's not a piece that would bring a ton more money, but it's an honest sign.
