Can anybody give me a vintage year on these racks and the logo use date range and possibly a value?
Dug out of storage by a fella who was a dealer for Veedol in the early 60's and sold 2 cycle oil in his shop.

That particular Veedol Flying V logo is from the 1940s...
With the "kick stand" and can brackets, the racks look to be single sided to me...

Racks and cabinet picked up today. One sided and racks hold 3 cans per shelf. Stamped on back of Rack is "Property of Tide Water Oil Co. of CAN. Ltd.
Cabinet has some 60's decals!
Next photos racks stocked with Outboard Oil.

I love these racks ..I have one that I got from a seller in Canada yrs ago..I have my starburst cans in mine..mine is not in the condition that these are but are great single side racks..I haven`t seen any of these type come up for sale in yrs..

The guy that I got them from had a small engine shop and was a distributor for Veedol early 60's.
I sold him a couple signs and he mentioned that somewhere in storage he had these racks. Took about a year for him to dig them out.
I was not really into Flying A before or Veedol.
Had lots of O/B cans though so it was a good fit.
Now I need to find a large Embossed winged Flying A sign!
Did Veedol ever make any signage saying Outboard Oil that you know of?

I`m sure their are some out there,I have never seen one..I have a bunch of outboard cans but no sign..HAVE ..

These Canadian racks hold twelve round quarts, 4 per row. They were used mainly in the 1950s and were still in use even into the 60s. It is always great when you can get a rack with original signage especially when it is built in to the rack. Nice score. Cheers, Don.
