Anybody know the brand of this or have a picture of the lid that goes over the cap?

Cover Looks similar to the Boyle Dayton Gas Cart Ball Cover w/ a threaded plug or dial gauge for contents remaining in tank.

Yes mine has the hole further up and looks as Dick said to have a flip Like the Boyle-Dayton. I have one of them also and tried it on there. Close ! What brand or maker of Bulk oil container is it?
Thanks

Besides the hole everything on yours looks the same as Larry's. Does his have any tags on it?

Jack, I went out and looked at mine and could not find an ID tag on it anywhere. I noticed that Craigs had a hole on the end on the handle. When I got mine, it had a lock on it as shown in this picture. I noticed also that Craigs had a wooden knob. Something doesn't seem right. Why the threads in his? What do you think went in the threaded part? A threaded cap. Just curious...

Threaded DIAL Tank FLOAT [Twisted flat bar w/ a cork float, as float dropped it twisted the rod to show what was remaining in tank].
Craig's was made for indoor use. Larry's was for out side use where it could be locked at night or not in use.

My opinion, many dispensers had return tubes on them, they turned to get out of the way of where the oil came out, curved down and around to an opening in the tank. This was to catch any excess oil so it would not leak and drip down on the tank. Plus, where did they put that great big nozzle to fill the tank, maybe, a removable plate that held the return tube.

MOST of these indoor tanks were filled w/ 5gal Bulk Buckets & Funnel method, NOT w/ hose from Bulk tanker truck.

Mine had no ID either. Yes it was a threaded cap like a Boyle-Dayton cap and lid.
