After seeing Anthony`s post I realized I did not post my last rustoration. The ad glass are original. I had a problem with the paint but it still looks decent.

Matt- I prefer that over any basecoat - clearcoat, polished pump any day! Super job!! J

Looks amazing Matt! I agree, these pumps are way better than a freshly polished and restored ones! BUT, that is just my opinion, others have different opinions.

Thanks guys, they are fun to do. I like the shinny ones too. I have some that have automotive finishes, powder coated, brush painted with out the patina look as well as unrestored. The Signal was my first. For those that missed my other posts here are the three other I have done.

Nice to see positive comments on this style of restoration. I posted pictures of my first in progress rustoration and after the reading the comments I stopped posting updates. Now I keep them to myself or for those who visit to enjoy. http://oldgas.com/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=487367&page=2
