So many fond memories of all he did with his life.
Great Escape,Grand Prix,Maverick,The Rockford Files,Space Cowboys & The Notebook to name a few.
His movie & TV career were so vast,I thought I'd post this snippet of his Rockford Files "J Turn" that was so popular with us when growing up.

Always seemed like a guy you'd want to have a beer with, Rockford files was my favorite show. Rest in peace.

...agreed...

Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

I also grew up watching the Rockford Files with my father.

I had removed the locking pin on my e-brake and spent a lot of time stunting cars on the streets of Winnipeg...curbed a few Challengers during the mid eighties.

One of my all time favorites.

Seemed like a great guy. I also watched the Rockford Files and was a big fan of a lot of his movies. Plus he was from Oklahoma winning combination.

Wife and I watched "The Note Book" the night before he passed away. If you haven't seen it you want to. A very fitting end to a fabulous actor.

I met, saw him once shooting pool in a EM club in Munich Germany in 1962. He was over there doing a USO show while I was stationed there. He seemed like a nice guy shooting pool with enlisted soldiers saying hello to everybody walking in. He left a lasting impression with me. Mitch
