Hmm.... well considering it's a Shelby Speedway Special I think I'm gonna see if I can get some $$ for it locally. The 'patina' is just what the guys at the car shows love.

saw a really nice original shelby tank bike last week. only drawback was that it was a girls bike. no money in those....

I have seen pictures of the Shelby airflows with tanks that extend around and in front of the handlebars. Those seem to be all over the internet but I've only found a couple pictures of the Speedway Special. I think the tank will have to be hand fab'd and distressed because I think most of the guys who would buy this bike want it to be a roller and not a resto.
