I'm a newbie working on pumps and have only done a couple smaller projects. One I'm working on needs new numbers on the price wheels. I have the number stickers, but can't figure out how you get access to the entire wheel to put them on. Before I start pulling every screw and pin in an effort to get to them, is there a trick or efficient way to get the wheels off or where they can rotate freely?

Thanks!

There are two ways, one is to just cut the 0 out and put it on gently lifting the closers up. Next is to hack all the keepers off so the wheels will spin free , but you will never get it back again, it will never spin again. Sometimes you can spin the wheels - sometimes not.

It's been a while since I've done it, but you position the start of the sticker in the proper location on the wheel and then slowly crank the handle to spin the dial or just spin the dials manually, whatever works, I dont recall tearing anything apart.
