I found this photo on the internet the other day, and the short pump looks like a Wayne 605 (with the larger ad glass). However, this pump looks like some sawed-off version of the Wayne 605 and appears considerably shorter than normal. I realize that the Bennett and Tokheim tall pumps make it look short, but it still seems awful tiny to me. Did Wayne make a short version of the 605 for Diesel? I cannot find such a short version in Jack Sim's book. Do any of you recognize this short pump?

Thanks.

Andy

...60% of a Wayne 505 would be, what, a Wayne 303? wink

Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

More than likely most short pumps were used at rural airports for small planes to pull up to an have wing clearamce. Ive seen several there. Farmers could care less.......
