Hey guys,

We may be recreating these pumps. This picture was a station in Detroit back in the '50s, long gone. I can't make out the graphics on the doors, the diagonal part, anybody recognize it? Was it a brand or something custom the owner did?

There's also a grey swoopy section under the diagonal stripe on the doors that is also very distinctive. Anybody recognize it?

Thanks!
Paul

...it's possible that phone books from Detroit from that era would yield some information...

...you have the name of the store owner, city in which it was located, and a relatively narrow window of the time the photo was taken - seems like an historical society in Detroit would be able to help...might cost you some money for research, but it'd be going to a good cause...

Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...
