Folks, I just purchased the inspection door for the National A-38 pump. The door does not come with the hinges. I could not find any for sale with the hinges. What have people done to keep the door in place. Does the lock mechanism do the job?

Thanks

Grant

It has a hinge at the top.

Always looking for grizzly gasoline stuff, or any Montana gas and oil stuff.

I have the hinge mechanism on top of the side panel but cannot see how the door (without a corresponding hinge) can work. Looks like the original set up was two hinges and a small pin. The reproduction doors are missing their side of the two hinges.

Thanks

Grant

Mine just has one hinge and the lock to keep it closed.
The door is spot welded to the hinge. Hope that helps.
