I know TEXACO came out with 'FIRECHIEF' and 'SKYCHIEF'. Did they come out with a REGULAR and ETHYL grade also??. If so, does anyone know the color schemes of these pumps??. Thanks

fire chief was the regular grade & sky chief was the ethyl grade .. ...

Texaco actually called their premium gas Ethyl prior to calling it Sky Chief. I think the change was around 1938 or 39..somewhere in there. Below is my Bennet pump I did as Texaco Ethyl. Also, I have a Texaco ethyl Banner. For those of you with a fine eye for detail will realize the bezels on the pump are actually for the Standard Oil pumps. the globe is original, the decal pump plate is not. It is a reproduction of an original. I had it done as a magnet to stick to the pump.
