Looked those up, plus Sky King trikes (link below)that another OLDGAS member recommended. What's even more interesting is that this shape designs originated in the 30's (they had DIY plans for the teardrop trailers in the 30's)and were revised in the 50's.

It's too bad with stuff now that it's function over form. Cost effective I guess...

Nicole, I made up a set of plans for a teardrop trailer for my final geometry test in 10th grade in 1953. I received a A grade. I still have them somewhere here in the house. Mitch
