I am new to the world of Petroliana so I’d like to ask for help from the forum members. We are clearing my step-father’s estate and there is an antique gas pump in the driveway. From my research and the data tag, I believe it is a Tokheim model 620 pump. Can someone confirm that the pump in the attached photos is a model 620? Are there different versions of the model 620? If so, which version is this?

Also for estate purposes we need to know a reasonable value for the pump. The glass cylinder is intact but there is no globe, and the hose and nozzle are missing. What is a pump in this condition worth?

Thank you in advance for your help. We appreciate you sharing your expertise.

I just traded one this weekend and have sold one in the past , It was getting offers in the $1,200 to $1,500 range , That being said I think it was worth $1,400 to $1,800 with good glass and close to the same condition as yours, But as we all know pumps and signs are way up , sometimes I cant believe what people will pay thanks

Michael,
Looks like a 620, there are variations but I just usually call them a 600 series just to cover the bases. If it had better original paint it would bring $1800. $1500 would be a fair price. There is no such thing as an exact price, it's whatever you can get at the time your trying to sell it. The prices I listed are based on my actual selling experience.
Tom.

These are VERY common in the northwest. It's a 620. Yours looks to be fairly complete but someone extended the drainback tube and it looks like it may be missing the electrical. These pumps are notorious for the cylinder cracking around the bottom...you have to look very close sometimes to notice. If glass is good I would agree it should be in the $1500 range. That being said, they don't move terribly fast at that price. But they do eventually sell.

These are common to find in pieces and missing the bonnet.
If the bonnet is good, that's worth $500 alone. If it is good, you might get with Ron Scoobie and check to see if he is looking for a good one to use for casting repops from??? I know of at least 2 people looking for one.
IMO...
Looks like a $2K CL pump all day long to me if the glass is good which is usually the case under original hail guards like that one.
Nice pump and enjoy!

Thank you all for your help. You have provided exactly the information we are looking for. We appreciate you sharing your expertise!

I live in the Portland area, but the pump is in Eugene, OR, which is about 2 hours south on I-5.

Michael
