I know that Firestone used some display pumps back in the day. What larger city is the town you live in by?

The wayne 50 showcase pumps I restored had firestone Porcelain panels. My understanding is that Firestone paid for the pumps so they could advertise and sell from the stations Island. I think there is an article in CTO or PC about this. Not sure which issue.

There were lots of Firestone Service centres, they sold gas , tires, worked on cars, sold bikes wagons etc. I posted about them once with a year and the number of servicenters they had, it was 400 or 4000..should be a bit of FStone stuff around. I have 1/2 of a Fstone neon sign, it was used in the movie "Snow Falling on Cedars" Also have a full box of Firestone Super Polonium Radioactive Spark plugs!!
