Hi all - I just got this original Mobilgas Marine lens. I would like to find a body it fits to light it up. Its just shy of 17" ( bigger than 16 1/2") Is this a rare size? or did they just round down and say 16 1/2" bodies. I know they make 16 1/2" repop bodies but want to make sure this will fit before I buy one. Any thoughts? Thanks Hubba [This message has been edited by djhubba (edited 04-01-2003).]

Great lens Hubba! Any marine globe is rare. This one is really rare. Turns out Hubba's lens has an outline around the pegasus. Instead of being the second known of the non-outlined version, its the first known outlined version in the 16 1/2" size! Its probably a little newer than the non-outlined version. I couldn't see the outline in the picture. Sorry about the mistake. Bob

Great Find Hubba!! And only the second one known to exist. Better quit that drooling, you might slip and fall carrying that rare baby. Congratulaions again.
