I have a Socony aircraft sign that I found in the basement of an old house in Portland Maine in 1993. It was part of the chimney construction, and appeared to have been there for some time. I recently decided to see what it was all about - aside from a wall hanging in my house. It is in good condition, as you can see from the pictures I will put up as soon as I figure out how. It has grommits in all but two of the holes and the porcelain is extremely shiny, with minimal scratching, and only a few nicks. I would love to get more information about it, and also find out if there are people interested in purchasing it. thanks for any and all responses.
:-)

I have seen these signs at gas shows in the past. They are really cool. I would be interested in it should you decide to sell as I have always been a little too late to purchase at the shows. Have always liked the airplane signs. I am located 20 minutes from you in Maryland. Paul www.severngaspumps.com
