This is a 3 sided National Benzole globe. Its an odd shape and is difficult to get a decent picture, this one is dated 1953. This is a pretty 60's Fina globe and a rarer Pratts Motor Spirit globe it dated before 1934. In the mid 30's the Anglo American Oil Company replaced the Pratts name with Esso. This is a first generation Esso globe.

This is the globe category I've been waiting for...and now I almost missed it?! Here are the only two globes I own. They are both made in Sweden. The OK was used during the 30's and 40's, mostly at General stores. OK stands for Oil consumers coorporation. The Esso was used between 1939 and early 50's when the pumps were replaced by the "new" type with radial arm. , regards, Claes [This message has been edited by fast66 (edited 12-09-2003).]

Nice globes Claes! Thanks for sharing. Anyone else have any non-US globes? We still have a few days left.
