Hi Gas geeks. Here are some photos of the Gilmore Lighthouse ..its done. When I got the pump from "Flyingausa" the pump had been blasted already and the computer and wiring were restored by Steve Snow. I disassebled and made the frame nice. Then primed and painted the sheetmetal and added the decals and clear coated. Then reassembled I had alot of fun with this pump. Its an easy pump to restore and looks great. I guess it it would be considered to ba a "custom" since Historically Gilmore had the red "Chevron" from the top and the cream yellow on the bottom...but I wanted it to be mostly a cream yellow pump with the red chevron at the bottom pointing to the decal. although not historically accurate..I like this better because its more yellow than red. There are alot of red pumps ya know..this is a lil different. A big Thanks to Tim Hanson for giving me the tip on this pump and to Paul F. for making a deal with me. There ya have it gas fans ..now I gotta get back in the garage..LOL --------------------------------------------- Hubba, gas geek of Shoreline WA

Hubba, Great Job! I like it a lot! The only problem with it, is that it looks so good, and Elvis doesn't have one. Now we'll have to hear his whinning for a week or two, until he finds a Bennett someplace near Iowa, and then can haul it home too. Great Job Hubba! The back must be better too? ------------------ Don "oltoydoc" Sherwood Vintage Gas

You guys KNOW I have been looking for one of those! Yes I need one, there are some rust collectors that have them but they don't sell stuff, just let it rust. I'll keep looking. I think your pumps are safe for now guys, I "think" I will slow down. Got a few large dollar snakes to get and I want to get some of these "keeper" pumps restored and displayed. You never know, I might snatch one here and there to keep you guys on your toes! GREAT job Hubba, looks perfect!
I remember the good old days when gold was worth more than rust!

I think Co-op grain elevator sounds better than Co-op lighthouse.. However Sea-side grain elevator sure doesnt sound as good as Seaside lighthouse. I think the only pumps that don't look better with 4 add-glsses are the Nationals a-38's and the Wayne 60's..dodogas

Hubba, Looks awesome! Are the skins leaning against a car in one of them pictures? Hope that's not the wifes car or you will be in trouble. LOL The whole room is looking good.
Looking for anything from Hoosier Pete, Platolene 500 and Red Bird.
