Here is my latest restoration. I am very disappointed in the pics I took as the full pump has no details and the closeup is the wrong color...so you guys use your imagination. The Tokheim nozzle, nozzle receiver, motor and setback cranks, face bezels, visi-gauge rods, coupling reducer, and top nut are all gold plated. The globe is an original with the "Cinn. Advertising Co." label still on it. I did not want to paint the globe body and lose its originality so the paint colors don't match up wth the pump...but I can live with that. I think the pump really turned out excellent and I just had to share with someone, regardless of the very poor photos I took. I also want to thank Jim for posting the pics for me.

Gary . . . It's a thing of beauty!

Looks like you should take a few more pictures. Seems to be some 'kewl kollectables' just peeking out in the pictures of the 850. I, for one, would like to see some of your other 'toys'.

How about it?

Thanks in advance.

Jim

Gary, Great job on the pump. I love the look of the 850 and you made it even better. I have had a chance to see Gary's place and it is very nice. Here is a link to Gary's home page, it came from oldgas here under collectors. Gary's place Again great job Gary.

What a fantastic looking pump. You did a great job and the colors look good to me. I have been looking for an 850 for a long time and haven't been able to come up with one. Your pump inspires me to start looking a little harder.

Thank you guys for the great replies. They make all the hard work of restoring well worth the effort. I have had this paint scheme and pump in my mind for a very long time and I have just now looked at the original paint/color scheme for an early 30's Marathon pump. I hope some of the "newbies" will realize that these old pieces of rust don't necessarily have to be restored "concourse correct". Just restore them to your preference. (Of course, a paying customer will get whatever he wants). Original, custom, professional restro or amateur, the important thing is to keep saving these roadside relics. Thanks again for all the great comments.

Tom 2 Tone, "nicest 850 in the world". I seriously doubt it, but what a great compliment from you. Thank you very much...and a thank you to everyone else that posted their comments.
