I am an Allstate agent and a few years back a friend was in Chicago at our home office. This globe was in an office and the owner had no history of how and when it was used. I dont think Sears used globes on their gas as their history with gas is not that old. Does anyone have any history on it or have you ever seen it. I would love to have one.

Great Allstate globe Ron. I don't have any solid info on your globe other than to say its gotta be post WW2. They didn't manufacture oval plastic globe bodies until after the war.
Sears first marketed gasoline in 1929. There are no known Sears globes although they have been seen in old pictures. According to the globe book Sears got out of the gasoline business in the 1980's. They had sold under the Cross Country and Allstate names. The Sears globes that are pictured in the globe book are from a different company. Bob
