.........as far as shoe box globes go, I can
help out. There are fourteen different ones known, all of them from the
greater Tidewater family, but there is artwork and designs for several other
companies that may have used them. We have over the past ten years or so
managed to get an example of each on the shoebox globes, and I've sent
pictures of eight or so of them along, as well as a couple close up shots
for reference. Every shoebox globe except one has notches in the lenses with
screws holding them on, just like a regular glass body. There is, however,
one known one-piece baked on shoebox, and that is the Tydol Ethyl.
