California ??, everyone knows that that stuff is from Union Oil in BC of course. I had a visible that still had the Union oil shield decal on it, i think that pump is still close by, they had painted around the decal. Glancing to my side here I see a couple nice RED LINE union grease containers.

Beautiful Globes,A grease can in the bookcase thats kool.If you got a lady, keep her happy. Thanks for the gift of sharing. I kinda wondered why the Union Non-Detonating Globe sold for almost 3 times the Union White Magic Globe At the GPM auction in June?? The White Magic is a lot nicer, was it just a THING or is this about rite ?? Thanks again Rex.

Jim,
Thanks for posting the pictures. Rex, in response to your question, there are 2 answers. First, the White Magic was way underpriced at the GPM auction. I believe it was re-sold for significantly more than it was purchased for - it's probably worth $2,000 - $3,000. I bought the Non-Detonating globe. I work for Union, and I don't know if I'll ever find another, which is why I bought it. I have a very understanding wife. She bought my first pump as an anniversary present, it was a Hayes visible. Once I came home and she had a Wayne 605 in the back of the car. She recently found a Bennett 646 and twisted my arm to get me to buy it. Right now I'm taking grief because they're not restored so they can't go inside! Dan
