My choice for this week is SPARK PLUGS, a lot of you young collectors might not know, but a lot of oil companys had other advertizing besides cans, signs, glass, they had a lot of stuff, so if your looking around and see things other than the items I mentioned and its cheap pick it up. Texaco had a lot of different logos on there plugs, and I don't have any of them, does anyone have plugs from the eastern companys?
The first plus I'll show is from SIGNAL oil , still in the box, this plugs value is about 150.00, n.o.s. a plug not in the box but new = 95.00 used = 50.00.

The next group of plugs I'll show is from BEACON of California, given to me buy a pal, still in boxes = case, value ???? so lets see whats out there from other companys.

Cool plugs but now I have nothing to post. I still have a full brick of those Beacon plugs to sell. I guess nobody wants to pay the price for those old rare plugs? Ted

What a great idea, collectible of the week. I know a lot of us collect a lot more than pumps, globes and signs. Lets support D. Buck on this excellent idea.
Here are a handful of spark plugs that I have acquired over the years. The two small ones on the top are Tie Tacks. One is an AC; the other one reads Champion. I don’t remember why I collected the three REX sparkplugs but I thought that they were kind of neat. The Firestone is really different. It is in its original box and the porcelain tip is pink.
I have been looking for years for the tin REX spark plug sign. It is a great sign. I have missed getting it twice. Any Leads? Thanks Rex

I think this is an excellent idea. I think they are lots of people on this site who collect other things than pumps and signs etc... so why not look at some of this stuff also. Plus I enjoy looking at pictures of other peoples collection's. Just my 2 cents worth and also 3 spark plugs 2 from Phillips 66 and 1 from MFA oil company in Columbia, Missouri. Keep it up D.B. Scott in Kansas City home of the 2-0 Chiefs.

Cool plugs. Did anybody else notice that the box for those Firestone plugs advertises "radioactive electrodes"? LOL
