I'm restoring a Wayne 615 that I have owned for many years. Was the actual pump assembly casting painted a specific color at the time of manufacture? How about the three (3) vertical support pipes? Just a standard black pipe finish? Has the original glass cylinder in excellent condition. My goal is to make it functional but obviously I do not plan to use it for pumping gasoline.

Thanks

I have seen quite a few original pumps over the years that had silver pipes and pumping units.

I always use gloss black on the pump and internal pipes. Gives a clean look. Paul www.severngaspumps.com
